Update: 24th March 2020

Following the latest announcement from the Prime Minister, and for our customers’ and employee’s safety, we have made the decision to close our brewery shop.

During the rapidly changing coranavirus situation, we have tried to ensure that our customers are able to get hold of our beers in as many ways as possible, whilst adhering to the guidelines put in place by the Government, NHS and World Health Organisation.

Given the recent announcement from the Prime Minister, which has placed a ban on all but 'essential' public contact, and for the safety of our customers and employees, we have made the decision to close our brewery shop.

In the meantime, please be assured that you can still find our beers in all major supermarkets.

Thank you to everyone that has continued to support local business at this incredibly difficult time.

Stay safe. Stay home.

Update: 17th March 2020

As the COVID-19 situation continues, the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees and customers are an absolute priority. We’re currently following all Government updates and ensuring all precautions and guidelines by the health authorities are met, whilst doing our very best to limit any disruptions so as to maintain ‘business as usual’.

With this in mind, our brewery store in Stoke Lacy and online shop will remain open to the public for as long as we are able to. The current measures we have in place include increased cleaning throughout the day and installing hand sanitizer stations, alongside already existing hand washing facilities within the buildings. If you do happen to come along to the brewery, please wash your hands or use the hand sanitizer as soon as you enter, and disposable gloves are available in the shop for any cash handling.

Unfortunately we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel upcoming brewery tours. We’ll be contacting every person booked on to the tours and offering a full FYI refund. If you have already made any special travel or hospitality arrangements then we can only apologise for any inconvenience this causes. If you do have any queries regarding the tour, please contact [email protected].

And for all those that were looking forward to our Land of Hops and Glory Cycling Sportive, we have decided to postpone this year’s event. It was scheduled to take place at our brewery on April 26, but will now be delayed to September (date TBC). We’ll keep you posted with a confirmation of the date.

We will of course be keeping up-to-date with any new information and guidance from the Government, World Health Organisation and NHS, and will keep you all informed as to any impact this might have on our day-to-day services at Wye Valley Brewery.

In the meantime, look after yourselves and those around you. And in order to bring a little bit of positivity, we’re offering a 15% discount on all cases of beer on our online store until the end of March 2020! To get your favourite WVB tipple delivered direct to your door, please click here.

Kindest Regards,
