As pubs have been able to invite their customers back inside this week, it certainly feels like a huge step on the road to recovery.

Whilst writing this blog, we’re wistfully wishing that we were enjoying a pint down the local… 

There was extremely welcome news for pubs in both England and Wales yesterday...

After 1985 was crowned the UK's Best Premium Lager, we decided to conduct our own blind tasting experiment.

In addition to our usual opening hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, we will now be opening our brewery shop EVERY Saturday - 9am to 1pm!

We remain an independent family business which, after 35 years of brewing, has now experienced the beer duty system from all perspectives. This is why we do support a fair reform of PBD (or SBDR) for all, but not at the expense of our smaller fellow brewers.
